General:

Vehicle breakdowns or unavailability of vehicle?

In case of vehicle breakdowns or unavailability of vehicle due to uncontrollable events, we will replace or upgrade the vehicle to the next vehicle category available.

When will the rental start?

Rental will start upon boarding or 30 minutes after scheduled rental. Please update us immediately if your flight will be delayed.

How do we book/reserve a vehicle or tour?

You can use our online booking in our website or you can call our hotline numbers.

For online bookings, please add our email address iwillbe@saferidecarrental.com to your contact list. Some of our emails go to your SPAM mails.

How to cancel your reservation?

Cancellation is allowed eight (8) days before the scheduled reservation. Cancellation policy applies.

You can go to My Accounts and cancel your reservations.

To help you cancel your reservation please send us an email (iwillbe@saferidecarrental.com) request or reply to the email confirmation. Write your order number in the subject.

Do we have a station at the Airport?

We do not have a station at the airport.

For renters who do not have a local number, we suggest to install Viber or WhatsApp (add +639175400159 Cebu) on your mobile phones. To avoid delays, we strongly suggest to contact us before departure and upon arrival. Please note that parking space at the arrival area is very limited and getting in may take sometime due to vehicle security checks.

WiFi is FREE at the arrival area.

What are the Terms and Conditions?

Where is our office located?

Self Drive:

Can we add an additional driver?

Yes, you are allowed to add One (1) additional driver only. We require all drivers driving license before the rental and should accept the rental terms and conditions.

Are Foreign Driver’s allowed to drive in the Philippines?

Foreigners who hold a valid driver’s license issued by the road authority of their home country can drive here in the Philippines for up to 90 days after their arrival provided that their license is in English. If the foreign driver’s license is not in English, the foreigner should have an official English translation from the local embassy of the issuing country.

If you plan to drive and stay longer than 90 days, you must get a local driver’s license from the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

What are the requirements for Self Drive Rental?

Local Driver’s Licence or Philippine Resident

  1. Must be at least 23 years old and 30 years old for Van’s & SUV’s Rental.
  2. Driver’s License & 2 Valid Identification Card.
  3. Original Proof of Billing (Water, Electricity, Water, Telephone or Credit Card Bill)
  4. Refundable Security Deposit
  5. Full Payment of Rental

Foreign Driver’s License

  1. Must be at least 23 years old and 30 years old for Van’s & SUV’s Rental.
  2. Driver’s License, Passport, and 1 Valid Identification Card
  3. Refundable Security Deposit
  4. Full Payment of Rental
Note: Lacking requirement will forfeit your reservation.

How much is the Refundable Security Deposit/Cash Bond?

Local or Philippine Resident

  • Any Type of Vehicle P5,000.00

Foreigner

  • Any Type of Vehicle P8,000.00
Cash only. Can be converted to any currency.

Maximum Insurance Coverage of our vehicles:

  • Own Damage – Full cost of the vehicle.
  • Personal Accident – P50,000.00/passenger up to maximum capacity of the vehicle.
  • Property Damage – P100,000.00
  • Bodily Injury – P100,000.00
A Deductible/Participation Fee will be charged per accident.

How much is the Deductible/Participation Fee:

In case for vehicle accident or damage caused by any fortuitous event where the RENTER is not at fault or in any way negligent, the RENTER is bound to shoulder only the participation fee of the vehicle whichever is higher otherwise covered by an insurance policy, and if the cost of repair, damage and consequential liabilities are covered by and recoverable from an insurance cover. It is immaterial as to whose fault or negligence the damage’s was caused. Otherwise, the RENTER shall be liable for the whole amount if he/she is at fault or negligent in driving the car.

  • Economy Car/Sedan –  P8,000.00
  • Mid-Size Sedan/Minivan – P10,000.00
  • Pick-up Trucks/Vans/SUV – P15,000.00

Are sidetrips allowed?

We have a sidetrip charge depending on the waiting duration and distance of the sidetrip.

Any point in Cebu City, Mactan Island and Mandaue City. Additional pick-up and drop-off fee outside coverage.

Dumaguete Branch:

Any point in Dumaguete City, Valencia and Sibulan. Additional pick-up and drop-off fee outside coverage.

Transfers/Drop-off/Pick-up:
